Junior ESG Specialist
Summary
We are a leading fintech company committed to integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into our business operations. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Junior ESG Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of the company's ESG strategy and policies.
- Conduct research and analysis on ESG issues, trends, and best practices to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to collect, analyze, and report ESG data and metrics.
- Support the preparation of ESG reports, disclosures, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating the company's ESG performance and progress towards goals.
- Engage with stakeholders, including investors, NGOs, and industry groups, on ESG-related initiatives and inquiries.
- Stay up-to-date on ESG regulations, standards, and frameworks to ensure compliance and alignment with industry best practices.
- Contribute to the development of ESG training and awareness programs for employees across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Strong interest in ESG principles and sustainability practices.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of ESG frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD is a plus.
- Previous experience or internships in ESG, sustainability, or related fields is desirable.
